Sandi has been serving the Triangle Real Estate Market area since 2006.  She moved from Minnesota to North Raleigh in 1984 and earned her Economics degree from UNC (Go Tarheels!) in 1990.  She then went to graduate school at NCSU (Go Wolfpack!) and earned her Masters of Education in 1995.  Sandi taught in Wake County Public Schools for ten years as a K-5 Reading Specialist; prior to that, she worked in the central office marketing research department.  Then she discovered her passion for Real Estate.

Sandi's husband, Wade, works at Cree as a software and database developer and enjoys photography in his spare time.  As recent empty nesters, they enjoy traveling with his Google+ group and their recently expanded family.  Some of their recent international trips include Prague, Ireland, and Germany and stateside Orlando, Wilmington, and the Outer Banks.  Their daughter, Jacqui, married her longtime boyfriend, Ryan, in October 2017.  Their son, Alex, married his college sweetheart, Grace, in December 2017.  Jacqui cheered at Leesville High School, and Alex discovered his love for computer programming at Leesville.  Sandi enjoyed helping Alex purchase his first home – a cute Ranch plan with a two-car garage in 2016.  Jacqui found a lovely two-story home with hardwoods throughout in 2017.

Sandi enjoys giving back to the community and is involved with several charities including the NC Food Bank of Eastern and Central NC, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Parkinson’s Foundation; Sandi also supports Sycamore Creek Elementary, Carolina Dance Foundation, Durham Highway Fire Department, NC Zoo, and the NC Museum of Art.

As an educator, Sandi enjoys classes and holds several certifications including the prestigious GRI, SRES, ABR, and CNE to name a few.  She graduated from the Raleigh Regional Leadership Academy in January 2018 and maintains a wide network with other professionals, which is an advantage to her clients.  She has advanced knowledge of many upcoming properties before they hit the market, and other agents often contact her to inquire about listings she will be bringing to the market.  This means faster sales for her sellers – often with multiple offers – and benefits her buyers since she has a personal relationship with many Triangle Realtors.  She offers special strategies for her buyers to help them win the bid in multiple offer situations.  Her professional reputation often plays a role in her clients’ offers being accepted.

Sandi is grateful for her friends, family, and clients.  Many clients have bought and sold multiple properties over the years: leaving their beloved first home to move into a larger, more spacious home for their growing family; or downsizing from the family home into a smaller more updated home – often with a three-car garage.  When the kids leave, there's more discretionary income for toys.  Many clients refer their friends and family members to Sandi.  Each client becomes a friend, and Sandi works hard to help each family find the perfect home.
